Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed distributed food items among poor and helpless people as Eid gifts.
The distribution of the gifts took place at Dhaka Cantonment Board Adarsha Bidyaniketon at Dhaka Cantonment on Saturday.
On behalf of Army Chief, Acting Station Commander Brigadier General Shamim Ahmed handed over the gifts to the representatives of the distressed families.
The civil and military officials and local dignitaries were present.
