| The online Creative Olympiad organization “Show the Creativity” officially launched its BRUR Unit at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, on November 21, featuring a discussion session and the announcement of a 39-member founding committee. Present at the event were the organization’s patron advisory board members, members of the Rangpur hub, and general students of the university. The discussion session was moderated by Jasim Uddin Riaz, the coordinator of the Rangpur hub and one of the founding members of the organization. During the event, he answered various questions from the students and provided insights into the future activities of the organization. Advisors who spoke at the event included Tabiur Rahman Pradhan (Assistant Professor, Department of Communication and Journalism), Sohag Ali (Lecturer, Department of History and Archaeology), and Kazi Newaz Mustafa (Lecturer, Department of Economics). Also present were advisor members Farzana Jannat Toshi (Lecturer, Department of Statistics), Sarwar Ahmed (Lecturer, Department of Communication and Journalism), and Imrana Bari (Lecturer, Department of English). The speakers encouraged the students to engage in creative activities and called for refraining from activities harmful to the Liberation War and the country’s interests. After the session, in accordance with the organization’s constitution, the founding committee of “Show the Creativity BRUR Unit” was announced. Jasim Uddin Riaz, a 10th batch student from the Department of Communication and Journalism, was elected as the president, and Ravindra Nath Mondol, a student from the same department, was appointed as the general secretary. With the announcement of the new committee, the “Show the Creativity” BRUR Unit officially began its activities. The organization has pledged to work on fostering creativity in educational institutions across the country. |
